Happy New Year

I read something earlier today that I'd like to take with me into 2025. "One drawing is one step forward. Two drawings is two steps forward."

Looking back on the last month, some things were bust and others were boon.

I joined an unexpected anthology project—something cool and quick for the sake of creation—which I'm excited and exhausted about. I tentatively started a Sunday Sketch Stream on Twitch. I figured out a handful of thumbnails—not for "How to Touch Grass", but I'm hopeful to crank out a couple more for that potential project soon. My Patreon has Soft-Launched—the first steps have been figured out, and I've started working on buffer-pages for my next comic. I got new business cards, and BLINK is in production at the printshop.

On the flip side, I jumped ship about halfway through DIGIcember—some days, I just don't want to work at a computer. I'm taking that into account going forward, and I'm simply going to try to work a drawing-a-day into my daily routine for 2025.

Speaking of 2025...

I'm calling 2025 the YEAR OF ROUTINE; we'll see what shakes out of that tree.
