February Feet

A three panel comic: In panel one an artist paints their toenails, the faery asks "sparkles?" and the artist responds "mhm"; in the second panel the faery stands by the artist's foot and asks "paint mine too?"; in the third panel the artist asks "do you even have toenails?"

by the end of february
I am feeling very weary
there's not enough caf
to summon a laugh
so I might seem airy faery

February is too short, so let's not dwell on the date.

On the MOONDAY after my birthday I'm going to start posting COMIC PAGES to PATREON.

A falling star.

The first three pages will go up on Patreon on March 9th, and it will update weekly on Mondays. Patrons at the $5+ will get behind the scene looks at production, and will see comic pages two weeks before they're released to the public.

"What's the comic about," I hear you say.

A Thousand Wishes will be a 48 page Magical Realism comic. Written as three discrete stories, A Thousand Wishes shows us a world that, sometimes, gives us exactly what we ask for.

Yes, I'm still working on my elevator pitch. Yes, it's technically still a working title.

If you like comics, or indie creators, or just want to help me celebrate MY BIRTHDAY, you can do so by clicking here and becoming a Patron. Patrons pay monthly for early access and behind the scenes looks at whatever I'm currently working on.

My OMNIBUS Launches April 20

A banner for a kickstarter project, OMNIBUS: a personal anthology. Features a clownish bus moderately full of colourful characters, underneath the title "OMNIBUS".

There's another Kickstarter project in the works, and I need THIRTY THREE more people following the pre-launch page to make my April-Goal. You can help me get there by following the page yourself, sharing the project on social media, and telling your friends about it.

Find the pre-launch page here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/faercrow/ombinus

My Omnibus will be a collection of the short-comics I've made during my formative years learning the medium. I like thinking of these stories as transitional works, as I shifted from the Apprentice-level projects of the Comics and Graphics Novel Program into my Journeyship producing on my own stories and running a local anthology. There's a range of polish, depending on where I had been on the way to my metaphorical bus stop—but it's all a part of me.

In C o n c l u s i o n . . .

I saw my first cherry blossom of the season the other day. That means something, doesn't it?
